Variety in the Verge
Today I explored the strip of land at the side of the road.
The map shows the section of road. It is the A27 going east into Worthing. The old A27 runs parallel to the new A27 which leaves a strip of land between the two roads. This does make for an undisturbed collection of plants.
I accessed the verge via the footpath that connects the 2 roads.
The daisies are lovely at this time of year.
How lovely for next to such a busy road!
ReplyDeleteWho knew? How many drivers look at the verges while they are driving? I only noticed the footpath the day I got stuck in a queue and one drive used it to get onto the parallel road! Just impatience...
